Blah blah blah.... =)

Just another weekend that went by, so smoothly and yet so fast.

I was able to see some new movies I hadn't seen yet (duh!). Here are some descriptions:
The Butterfly Effect (O Efeito Borboleta)
Description: a boy that has blankouts through his childhood and begining of teenage years, finds out his father had the same condition, as his grandfather did. He passes through a lot (like fightings, pedofile situations), but not alone, since he has 3 friends (a beautiful yet sad girl, her violent and unstable brother and a chubby innocent boy). After some difficulties, he goes away to live in another city but promises the girl he'll come back. When he grows, he finds out he can travel to the moments of the past where he had blankouts and change the future. But every single move he does for the girl in the past, will always have awful consequences in the future...
My avis: I just loved this one. Really, it works a lot with the questions of the mind, and it doesn't contradict anywhere throughout the movie (most of this kind of movies really have contradictions, but not this one).

The Eye (Visão de Morte)
Description: a blind girl is able to perform a sucesseful operation that restores her vision. She's happy because she can finally see the beautiful world where she lives in, but she soon starts to see more than any other human being. What she first thinks of as normal people, she'll soon find out that what she really sees is Death coming to take away people's spirits. She then tries everything to stop seeing all those ghosts everywhere, just to find out that this all had a purpose...
My avis: even though my boyfriend told me that it didn't scare him at all, I couldn't help to go out of breath in some moments of the movie. The story is also very beautiful, but it's a chinese movie, something that could make people to stay away from it. I really enjoyed it, though.

Eurotrip
Description: some teens have just left high school and are ready to go to college! But one of them has just been dumped (and found out that his girlfriend was a whore), the other one just thinks about getting layed and the two (awful) twins (a girl and a boy) decided to go and journey throughout Europe. But everything's not lost! The boy that has been dumped discovers that he's really in love with a german penpal (who he thought was a boy) and decides to go to Berlim and meet her. And so here starts the most crazy journey of their lives.
My avis: well... it has some situations where you laugh (or, at least, smile), but I think this movie is one more American Pie. I mean, everything's an excuse to see naked girls and sex scenes. You could just ignore it...

Wah...! What a boring description eh? Well, I just can't wait to see The Ring 2, as I liked the first one. And I saw the japanese version, and strangely I liked the american version best.

Anyway. Easter vacations are coming pretty soon this year, so I better write everything I have to right now. What I'm going to do that 2 weeks, I really don't know, but I was hoping I could meet with some friends, to know and tell the news. And I have to go to Lisbon or Porto and have some sushi!

Keep in touch, minna.
